About the Role
As a Front-End Engineer, you will join the simulation team responsible for developing the software environments used to test and validate advanced flight systems.
You will focus on building intuitive interfaces, data visualization, data analysis tools, and self-service applications that allow engineering teams to configure, monitor, and manage complex simulation workflows.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications supporting simulation and testing workflows.Build scalable, maintainable front-end architecture.Develop interfaces for simulation configuration, management, and monitoring.Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.Build tools for data visualization and analysis.Contribute to systems that automate the provisioning and deployment of simulation resources.Help improve the speed and reliability of engineering development workflows.
Required Qualifications
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government Secret/Top Secret security clearance.3+ years of professional front-end or full-stack development experience.Strong front-end engineering fundamentals.Strong HTML/CSS experience.Strong experience with React or Vue.js.Experience with UI/UX design.Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, Bash, Lua, or PowerShell.Experience with modern front-end architectures and component-based development.Experience working with APIs such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, or Webhooks.Experience building responsive applications.Experience with Linux-based systems.Familiarity with modern DevOps practices.Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Nice to Have
Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Shadcn UI, or similar tools.Data visualization experience, including graphs, charts, or 3D visualization.AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms.Observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.Docker or Docker Compose.

Base Salary: $101,000–$140,000 + additional compensation/equity as applicable
