Your new position As a Cloud Engineer you will join our IT Infrastructure and Operations team to further advance on our Microsoft Azure cloud journey and the modernization of our system landscape. You will work hands-on with our platforms — designing, automating, and operating the services that colleagues across the organization rely on every day. This is an exciting role that combines Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and Microsoft 365 in a regulated life-science environment. We Offer Exciting Responsibilities Operate and continuously improve our Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and platform services supporting our workloadsAutomate cloud and identity operations using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic AppsAdminister Microsoft 365 services — including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive — and manage Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access controlsMaintain email authentication and security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and troubleshoot SSO and identity-related issues across SAML, OAuth, and OpenID ConnectCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions in our regulated (GxP) environments. Your profile You are a curious and pragmatic cloud engineer, who enjoys solving problems and automating repetitive work. You take ownership of what you build, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and thrive in a environment where priorities range between cloud infrastructure, automation, and end-user services. You bring energy and drive for team results and consistently aim to deliver high-quality work. A couple of years of hands-on experience operating Microsoft Azure cloud services in a similar technical rolePractical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub)Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic AppsSolid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and Entra ID, including Conditional Access and modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)Understanding of core networking (DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalls) and email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)Exposure to regulated environments such as GxP-compliant systems in life sciences is an advantage; relevant Microsoft certifications is a plus.
