Wet DBA role - VISA Support can be provided. €500 per day Ruby on Rails Developer Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands (hybrid — onsite days required) Role Overvie We're looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join a fast-paced engineering team within a global high-tech manufacturing organisation. You'll work on building and maintaining scalable web applications that support critical internal business processes. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring high performance and scalabilityWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code following best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) in an Agile/Scrum environmentParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisionsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applicationsIntegrate with RESTful APIs and third-party servicesContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationRequirements 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on RailsStrong understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful design, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS; React or similar a plus)Familiarity with Git, automated testing (RSpec), and CI/CD toolsExperience working in Agile/Scrum teamsGood communication skills in EnglishNice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Exposure to microservices architecture)Background in a large, international enterprise environment
