They are currently looking for an Intermediate to Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join their Toronto team. About the RoleYou’ll work on technically challenging software engineering projects for enterprise clients, contributing across the full development lifecycle from solution design and architecture through development, testing and deployment. The current technology environment includes TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, Microsoft Azure and Docker. Because this is a consulting environment, technologies and projects can evolve depending on client requirements. We’re looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies and taking ownership of solutions. What You’ll Be DoingDesign, develop and deliver scalable full-stack applicationsBuild backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScriptDevelop modern frontend applications using React and Next.jsContribute to architecture and technical design decisionsBuild and integrate REST and API-driven servicesWork with SQL and NoSQL databasesDevelop and deploy applications within Microsoft AzureWork with Docker and modern development environmentsTroubleshoot complex application and production issuesCollaborate directly with developers, architects, project managers and business stakeholdersWork closely with engineering teams across Canada and IndiaUse AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and problem-solving Required Skills & Experience4–7 years of professional software development experienceStrong professional TypeScript experienceStrong hands-on backend development experience with Node.jsExperience building scalable APIs, services and backend applicationsExperience with NestJS or another Node.js backend framework, with the ability to become productive in NestJS quicklyStrong frontend development experience with ReactExperience with Next.jsExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databasesHands-on experience with Microsoft AzureExperience with DockerStrong understanding of modern software architecture and development practicesExperience working in Agile development environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skillsAbility and interest in learning new technologies as project requirements evolveExperience using, or a strong interest in adopting, AI-assisted development tools Bonus If You HaveConsulting or professional services experienceExperience with microservices or event-driven architecturesExperience working with distributed or offshore development teamsExperience building AI or LLM-powered applicationsFamiliarity with Azure AI, OpenAI APIs or prompt/context engineeringOpen-source contributions or personal technical projectsDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline Who Will Thrive Here?We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, not simply completing tickets.
