Senior Software Engineer

Overview As Senior Software Engineer, you will work with cross-functional global Technology teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will design and develop scalable and efficient software that supports Factoring Business applications. This role will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams and across organizations to define & implement solutions for existing applications with focus on the modernization of legacy systems and to provide ongoing support to the systems modernized. Responsibilities Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Contribute to and drive department best practices, guidelines implementation and adhering to standards. Experience building and maintaining large software platforms. Deep love of building elegant, maintainable, well-documented, secure code Abstracting, refactoring and/or testing solutionsDrive to learn new things and go above and beyond the call of duty. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance Preferred Area of Experience: MS.NET; ASP.NET; SQL Skill(s): Advanced experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#); ASP.NET Core; JavaScript; HTML 5; XML; SQL Scripting and Powershell Scripting, Advanced experience with Microsft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar code repository system Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on experience with full stack developmentMust have module level lead experience for small to medium sized projects. Ability to understand and influence architecture and design. Qualifications: Strong experience in .NET Core (5.0/6.0) and .NET 8Expertise in Web API development and supportProficient in LINQ and Entity Framework CoreHands-on experience in Angular 19+Strong understanding of front-end development using TypeScript, JavaScript, jQueryGood knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, BootstrapDatabase experience (SQL Server (2012 & 2019) or DB2 or Oracle)Prior experience with regulated financial organization is a plus.
