Cloud Operations Engineer
The Opportunity:

As a CloudOps Engineer, you will operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission focused teams as they deploy, scale, and maintain cloud-native solutions.

Work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large–scale government program, using next–gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Python.
Design and develop DevOps pipeline to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, AWS CodeDeploy, etc.
Use state of the art diagnostic tools and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic

You Have:
4+ years of experience operating cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCExperience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, andExperience with Automation tools such as GitLab and GitHub and scripting such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExperience with IaC tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARMExperience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutionsAbility to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applicationsSecret clearance Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience working with a cloud service provider, or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience working with a cloud service providerAWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert within 60 days of hire Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
