Position Name – AWS Architect
Type of hiring – Fulltime
Location – Markham, ON L6G 0G1 (Mandatorily need to visit office 3 days – Mon/Tue/Wed)

Required Skills & Experience
12+ Years in IT infrastructure, with 6+ Years hands-on AWS architecture and operations in enterprise/managed-services environments.AWS Professional-level certification (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional) strongly preferred.Deep, hands-on expertise across VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM (execution), EventBridge, CloudWatch, and AWS-native backup/DR.Strong Terraform / IaC engineering — state management, modular design, pipeline-driven deployment.Working knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and change management integration (ServiceNow/CAB).Familiarity with enterprise observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Instana, CloudWatch) and ITSM operations.Proven ability to operate within client-owned cloud governance (Landing Zone, Control Tower, IAM policy) — clear on the execute-vs-govern boundary.Solid grasp of hybrid estates and coordination with on-prem/middleware teams.
Preferred / Nice to Have
BFSI / Insurance domain experience.Exposure to middleware-adjacent environments (WMB, JBoss Fuse, ActiveMQ, DataPower, Spring Boot) and batch/job scheduling.Experience in transition/steady-state managed services and multi-vendor delivery models.
