Description

WEROCK Technologies is a German B2B technology company developing rugged computers, industrial tablets, panel PCs and data-capture solutions for demanding professional environments. As part of our expansion into Taiwan, we are looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our new team in Taipei. Your first project will be to complete our new multilingual WordPress website. The technical environment, migrated content, initial designs and several custom plugins already exist. You will take over the platform, prepare it for launch and continue developing it in the long term. You will report to the Marketing Manager in Taiwan and work directly with WEROCK in Germany. Tasks Responsibilities Complete and continuously develop our German and English WordPress website Implement existing HTML and Kadence designs accurately Build responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile Adapt migrated pages and product content to the new design Complete the FluentCart shop, product configuration and inquiry functions Implement B2B pricing, customer groups and product-specific purchase visibility Complete the partner portal with registration, approval levels and protected content Develop, review and maintain custom WordPress plugins Build future API, webhook and business-system integrations Improve performance, technical SEO, accessibility and usability Test and document code, functions and administrative processes Requirements Strong HTML and CSS skills Good understanding of responsive web design Basic practical knowledge of PHP Basic practical knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript Basic knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB Understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, hooks and content structures Practical experience with Git and GitHub Ability to understand, review and debug existing or AI-generated code Structured programming and problem-solving mindset Independent and responsible working style Good written and spoken English Willingness to take long-term ownership of the platform Formal qualifications and a specific number of years of experience are less important than practical ability, reliable execution and technical judgment. Experience with Kadence, Gutenberg, FluentCart, WooCommerce, Polylang, REST APIs, webhooks, technical SEO, automated testing, WCAG, Linux or CI/CD is an advantage. WEROCK actively uses AI-assisted development tools. You may use AI extensively, but you must understand, test, debug and take responsibility for everything you deliver.
