Summary
✨ AI‑Generated
A founding engineering opportunity to build an AI-driven product from the ground up, designing architecture, developing intelligent systems, and shaping the technical foundation.
Highlights
Foundational engineering role with ownership of architecture, AI systems, product development, and technical decisions in an early-stage environment.
Description
The role:
A pre-seed, Warsaw-based startup is building the personal AI category: an always-on agent that handles life's mundane tasks for real users.
Backed by Inovo, led by a founder with a prior exit, and running as a tight 3-person team.
You would be the next Founding Engineer, building the core product and the infrastructure it runs on from the ground up, ahead of a 2026 launch.
This is a ground-floor seat.
You shape the agentic systems, the architecture, and the user experience - not maintain someone else's decisions.
What you'll do:
Build the core product end to end: agentic AI features, backend infrastructure, and user-facing surfaces.
Design and ship production AI agents - reliability, evaluation, and cost control are your problem, not an afterthought.
Own observability for agentic workflows: define the metrics that prove quality and catch regressions before users do.
Make architecture and system-design calls with minimal guidance and live with the outcomes.
Ship fast, in production, with real users - iterate on what breaks.
Core stack:
TypeScript, Next.js, SwiftUI, AI agents and LLMs, Vercel, GKE, Postgres.
What we need (must-haves):
Shipped AI agents to a real production environment at scale - not prototypes or academic work.
Shipped a B2C product built around AI agents to a meaningful user base.
Concrete, battle-tested strategies for agent observability, evaluation, and cost management - you can walk through specifics.
Experience as an early engineer at a high-growth, fast-moving startup.
Fluent in Polish (this role is on-site in Warsaw and the working language requires it).
Based in Warsaw or able to relocate immediately.
Existing work authorization for Poland;
Bonus:
Previous experience founding a tech company (outcome doesn't matter - the scars do).
A mix of top-tier tech (e.g.
Microsoft-caliber) and early-stage or founder experience.
International background - studied or worked abroad.
The reality:
Culture is "Silicon Valley intensity, Warsaw timezone." This is a high-intensity, extreme-ownership environment for builders who see personal AI as the most important thing they could be working on.
It is demanding and fast, and it is not the fit if you want a low-stakes, purely 9-to-5 setup.
We hold to Polish and EU working-time and rest rules; the intensity is in the ambition and pace, not in ignoring the law.
How we use AI in this process (transparency):
We use automated and AI-assisted tools to help source, screen, and organize applications.
These tools support our decisions - they do not make them.
A human reviews every candidate and makes all hiring decisions, with meaningful oversight at each stage.
You have the right to request information about how AI was used in your assessment, to ask for human review of any automated step, and to have your data handled under GDPR.
If you'd like details on the tools used or a manual review, just ask.
