What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team as a Level 2/3 support professional.
You will manage vulnerability tracking and certificate lifecycle, support secure file transfer protocols, and assist with client onboarding.
This role is critical to maintaining the security, availability, and reliability of our mission-critical systems.
What Will You Do?
Vulnerability & Security Management: Track, manage, and coordinate remediation of system vulnerabilities; conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely resolutionCertificate Lifecycle Management: Monitor, renew, and manage SSL/TLS certificates and PGP encryption keys across production environmentsFile Transfer Protocol Support: Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for SFTP, Connect Direct, AS2, and FTP protocols; ensure secure and compliant data transmissionClient Onboarding: Guide clients through setup processes, validate configurations, and provide technical documentation and trainingProduction Incident Management: Respond to and resolve P1/P2 incidents following ITIL best practices; manage incident, problem, and change requests in ServiceNow/JiraLog Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyze system and application logs (Unix/Linux environments) to diagnose issues and implement solutionsStakeholder Communication: Provide clear, timely updates to business stakeholders and clients; escalate issues appropriatelyDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge base articles in Confluence and SharePointTesting & Validation: Support functional and integration testing for releases and changesMonitoring & Alerting: Configure and monitor systems using AppDynamics, Logic Monitor, and Splunk; respond to alerts and SLA breachesExcellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skillsStrong stakeholder and client-facing communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with ability to multi-task in SLA-driven environments
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Experience with monitoring tools: AppDynamics, Logic Monitor, SplunkSQL and .NET application troubleshooting knowledge (or equivalent)Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and log analysisExperience with Level 2/3 IT applications and production support experienceExpert understanding of file transfer protocols: SFTP, Connect Direct, AS2, and FTPSolid knowledge of PGP encryption and certificate managementExperience with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processesProficiency with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
Nice to Have:
ITIL Foundation certificationExperience with high-availability and mission-critical systemsKnowledge of financial services platforms and operations (preferred)
