Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer with expertise in API Management, API Gateway technologies, Kubernetes, and Microservices Architecture.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, securing, and managing enterprise APIs, including supporting API gateway migration initiatives from Apigee to Envoy/Gloo Gateway.

Strong hands-on experience with Apigee API Management (Apigee X/Hybrid)Experience with API Gateway technologies such as Gloo Gateway, K-Gateway, or EnvoyProven experience in migrating APIs and gateway configurations from Apigee to Envoy/Gloo GatewayWorking knowledge of IBM DataPower administration and integrationStrong understanding of Kubernetes and containerized environmentsExperience with Microservices ArchitectureExpertise in REST APIs, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/SwaggerKnowledge of API security including OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, and mTLSExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain API proxies and gateway configurations.Lead and support Apigee to Envoy/Gloo Gateway migration initiatives.Configure and manage API security, traffic policies, rate limiting, and monitoring.Work with DataPower, backend services, and microservices-based applications.Deploy and support API solutions in Kubernetes environments.Collaborate with Architecture, DevOps, and Engineering teams to build scalable API platforms.Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, reliability, and scalability.Preferred Qualifications
