Full Stack Engineer

The Opportunity We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer who enjoys solving real business problems, building practical software, and finding smarter ways to get work done. You’ll build and own applications and features across the stack using modern technologies like Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, and Vue.js. This is a hands-on role with a lot of ownership. You’ll work directly with end-users to understand how they work, identify problems and inefficiencies, and turn those into simple, effective software solutions. Automation is a big part of how this client thinks about engineering. We want someone who naturally asks, “Can we automate this?” and looks for opportunities to eliminate repetitive work, simplify processes, and make the business more efficient. AI is also becoming a core part of how this team builds software. Experience using Claude or equivalent AI development tools is required. We’re looking for someone who already incorporates AI into their development workflow to build, troubleshoot, test, automate, and move faster. We care more about how you think, build, and solve problems than a specific number of years on your resume. Non-Negotiables Modern Full-Stack Development- Strong experience building production software across the backend and frontend. Our primary stack is Node.js / TypeScript and Vue.jsSQL Proficiency- Strong ability to write queries and work directly with relational data, including joins, updates, aggregations, and business logic.Modern Frontend Framework Experience- We use Vue.js. Experience with React, Angular, or Svelte is also welcome if you’re comfortable learning Vue.AI-Assisted Development- Hands-on experience using Claude or equivalent AI development tools as a meaningful part of your engineering workflow.End-to-End Ownership- Comfortable owning features from database → backend → UI and working directly with users to understand what needs to be built. Nice to Haves Automation Experience- Experience building internal tools, integrations, automated workflows, or other systems that reduce manual work.Cloud Experience- Experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP.AI / LLM Development- Experience going beyond AI-assisted coding to build AI-powered features, agents, workflows, or integrations.Database Architecture- Experience designing schemas, creating tables, and improving existing data models.
