That means both halves of the job: making the decisions that shape how our frontend is built- structure, patterns, component architecture, performance- and shipping the product features that sit on top of them. You'll be the person other engineers come to on frontend questions, and the person accountable for whether our apps feel fast and solid to use. This is an ownership role. We're not looking for someone to implement designs handed to them; we're looking for someone with a real point of view on how a frontend should be built, who can bring the rest of the team with them. What you'll do Own and evolve our frontend architecture: structure, patterns, state management, and the decisions that outlast any single featureBuild and maintain our main React/TypeScript applications end-to-endSet the standard for frontend quality: performance, accessibility, testing, and consistencyWork closely with design and product to shape what gets built, not just howRaise the bar through code review, and help other engineers get better at frontend work Required Senior-level frontend experience with React and TypeScript in productionDemonstrated architectural ownership: you've made frontend structural decisions, lived with the consequences, and can explain what you'd do differentlyStrong grasp of frontend performance: how to measure it, diagnose it, and actually fix itExperience consuming and shaping REST and/or GraphQL APIs, including pushing back on API designAbility to work independently in a remote team Nice to have Design system or component library ownershipAccessibility depth (WCAG)Experience with data-dense product UIs: tables, filtering, complex forms, real-time updatesGraphQL client tooling and caching strategyAzure/AWS/GCP familiarityRecruiting/HR tech familiarity
