Senior Cloud Network and Security Engineer A leading German engineering and IT services provider is looking for a technical expert to join their infrastructure team. This role focuses on the continuous development and technical management of network and firewall environments across multiple locations. The successful candidate will drive innovation by bridging the gap between enterprise networking, cloud architecture, and security automation. What you'll be doing • Managing and evolving network and firewall infrastructure for multiple corporate sites • Designing and implementing secure network architectures for on-premises and cloud environments • Standardizing and automating the deployment of network resources using modern tools • Analyzing existing structures for performance, security, availability, and cost-effectiveness • Providing technical consultancy for internal departments and managing external service providers What we're looking for • Extensive professional experience in network engineering or network security • Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewalling with technologies like Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet • Practical experience with public cloud network architectures, specifically AWS • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines • Strong communication skills in both German and English with a solution-oriented mindset What's on offer • Salary: 75.000 bis 90.000 € brutto jährlich • Permanent full-time contract with an established international organization • Hybrid working model with regular remote work options • Individual professional development and certification opportunities • Significant technical creative freedom in a responsible expert position Apply via Hyra to be considered for this opportunity.
