What does your job as a Pricing Actuary look like?As a pricing actuary, you collaborate with Product Managers and Product Experts on the development and management of life insurance products. You understand business needs while managing (re)insurance risks.You closely monitor the profitability of NN life insurance products and are an expert in the key drivers of this profitability. You support strategic processes such as profit sharing and financial planning through quantitative analyses.You prioritize the use of cutting edge technologies and data driven analyses to extract relevant insights, for example through the use of artificial intelligence applied to dynamic pricing. The team operates across several segments (Savings, Protection, Disability) and works with two distribution channels: banks and brokers.As an EB/SE product actuary within our team, you willBe responsible for a full range of pension and protection products, with or without supplementary guaranteesTake initiatives in the deployment of the product plan and act as the reference point for EB/SE productsDevelop and implement new solutions in compliance with the legislation (e.g., cashflow projection tools, Backoffice systems)Develop, refine, and monitor SE pricing and defend it to stakeholders. This includes a critical review of best estimate assumptions: mortality, lapses, cost structurePropose actions to improve the profitability of our products and discuss and challenge the work of your colleagues and support the development of junior team membersThis is how you fit perfectly into our teamYou have 5y of experience in relevant fieldYou have a Master in Actuarial Science (or an equivalent professional experience)An experience in EB/SE/2nd Pillar segment is requiredYou are fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plusYou have excellent communication skills: you can simplify complex and technical topics and interact with a wide range of profiles (sales, experts, senior management)You have programming and artificial intelligence skills.
