The existing frontend is functional but technically and visually outdated. As part of the project, the interface will undergo a comprehensive modernization and be enhanced with new frontend-specific features: We are looking for an experienced React Frontend Developer who can not only maintain and extend existing components, but also fundamentally modernize an existing frontend both technically and visually and independently implement new features. Responsibilities Modernize and further develop an existing frontend application using ReactDesign and implement a modern, state-of-the-art UI/UXDevelop new frontend features and functionalitiesRefactor existing components and improve the overall user experienceIntegrate the frontend with existing backend systems and data sourcesEvaluate and implement suitable interfaces, e.g. APIs or database connectionsWork closely with the existing development teamIndependently implement development tasks and coordinate with relevant stakeholdersRequirements – Must-Have At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing modern React applicationsStrong knowledge of modern frontend technologiesExperience modernizing and further developing existing frontend applicationsExperience integrating frontend applications with backend and/or database systemsGood knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScriptIndependent, structured and solution-oriented working styleAbility to quickly familiarize yourself with an existing codebaseNice-to-Have Experience with the MERN stackKnowledge of MongoDB, Express.js and Node.jsExperience with modern UI/UX concepts and design systemsExperience developing or migrating existing legacy frontendsLanguage: German: nice to haveEnglish: mandatory B2 oder better Referenznr: 925161MH Rolle: React Frontend Developer (m/w/d) Contract type: Service contract Region: To be agreed / Remote Workload: To be agreed Start: 01.01.2027 Duration: 12 month
