Cloud & Automation Engineer (m,f,d) - AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/Golang Bern - 100% Project: To join a leading Swiss organization, we are looking an experienced Cloud & Automation Engineer to support the engineering and operation of shared Kubernetes platforms based on AWS EKS and Azure AKS. Your Tasks: • Engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms based on EKS and AKS • Enable application teams to deploy and run their applications on the platform • Maintain and further develop Kubernetes add-ons • Implement customer feature requests • Optimise platform and cloud costs • Contribute to security hardening • Support audits and compliance initiatives • Participate in on-call duties Required Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field • Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in an enterprise environment • Experience with AWS and/or Azure • Good knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ideally Golang • Experience with GitOps, GitHub and GitHub Actions • Knowledge of Helm and Kustomize • Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium and Grafana • An automation-first mindset • A structured, independent and delivery-oriented approach • Willingness to participate in on-call duties Languages: • Fluent English (written and spoken) • German is an advantage Ref.
