DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer – Munich €65,000–€75,000 | Hybrid – 2 days per week in Munich We’re working with a global technology company specialising in content security and cloud-based solutions for the media and entertainment industry that is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer into its Munich team. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on Linux, AWS, networking and production operations. You’ll work closely with engineering and technical support teams to maintain and troubleshoot business-critical cloud infrastructure, investigate incidents and improve the reliability of production environments. What you’ll be doing Operating and supporting AWS-based production environmentsTroubleshooting Linux, networking and cloud infrastructure issuesInvestigating incidents and performing root-cause analysisMonitoring production systems and responding to service issuesAutomating repetitive operational tasks using Bash/PythonWorking with Docker, Git and cloud toolingSupporting release validation and deployment activitiesImproving operational processes, documentation and runbooksWorking closely with Engineering and Technical Support teams What we’re looking for You’ll ideally have experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, SRE, Infrastructure or Production Support, with strong hands-on knowledge of: LinuxAWSNetworking – TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, routing, firewalls, load balancingBash and/or PythonDockerGit Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or other Infrastructure-as-Code tooling would be beneficial but isn’t essential. You don’t need previous media, streaming or content-security industry experience. The company is open to engineers from a broad range of technical backgrounds who have strong production infrastructure and troubleshooting skills.
