The ALDI Tech Hub is an important part of fulfilling this mission. Your tasks As a Cloud Data Engineer, you are part of a platform team responsible for designing, developing, and operating business-oriented cloud frameworks for the international data & analytics platform. The team defines and provides technical standards, governance structures, reusable platform capabilities, and best practices to enable stakeholders and data product teams across the organization. Specific Key Tasks and Activities: Design and develop core technical solutions, policies and processes for the international data & analytics platform Provide, enhance, and support standardized platform frameworks that enable data product teams to build, deploy, and operate end-to-end data processes in a consistent, governed, and scalable way Responsible for the operational support of the product, including monitoring, troubleshooting, deployments and testing Evaluate the latest technologies and features, test them in the form of proof of concepts and introduce them as new products for the data & analytics platform Work with state-of-the-art tools and methodologies such as DataOps, DevOps and Scrum Support the planning of the development and guide other data engineers Requirements Experience working with Big Data technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure Cloud (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Databricks, Azure SQL Server, Azure DevOps) Profound knowledge in the development of ETL pipelines, ideally with Python, SQL or Spark Experience with Declarative Automation Bundles is beneficial Azure cetificate in the Data & Analytics area What we offer Ticket for free public transportation in Krakow Subsidised lunch meals delivered to the office Health benefits such as health care fully paid by ALDI, reimbursement for corrective glasses or a sports card for several fitness activities Competitive salary according to your competencies and additional vacation bonus Flexible working time within a hybrid working model Inspiring and open-minded working atmosphere with “come as you are” culture Modern and well equipped office near the old town of Kraków Secure job in an international working environment with long-term prospects Please submit your application documents in English, as we will work together a lot in English.
