Full Stack Automation Integration Engineer

Role: Fullstack Developer / Automation / Integration Engineer – Capital Markets & Asset Management Experience: 5 - 8 Years Role Summary We are seeking a Fullstack Developer / Automation / Integration Engineer with strong technology skills and hands-on experience in Capital Markets or Asset Management operations. The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing automation and integration solutions to streamline investment operations, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual processing across financial workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong programming expertise, experience with financial messaging standards, API-based integrations, and a solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes including confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation. Key Responsibilities Develop automation solutions for Asset Management and Investment Operations workflows to reduce manual effort and improve straight-through processing.Build and enhance automation for Corporate Actions processing, including dividends, interest payments, redemptions, and reorganizations using financial messaging standards.Develop solutions for trade confirmation and post-trade connectivity processes for financial instruments including Corporate Bonds and Asset-Backed Securities.Automate back-office trade settlement processes through integration with custodian banking systems.Design and implement configurable approval and payment workflows based on business rules, authorization levels, and operational requirements.Generate digitally signed PDF documents and secure transaction instructions for financial institutions while maintaining compliance requirements.Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, XML, JSON, and file-based data exchange mechanisms.Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand operational challenges and deliver scalable automation solutions.Required Technical Skills Strong programming experience in Python or Java for automation and integration development.Hands-on experience with SWIFT financial messages (MT5xx series).Knowledge of DTCC trade confirmation and post-trade workflows.Experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, and file-based integrations.Strong SQL skills with experience working with relational databases.Experience designing and developing workflow automation solutions.Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and deployment practices.Domain Expertise (Mandatory) Strong experience in Capital Markets, Asset Management, Investment Operations, or Custody Services.Understanding of financial trade lifecycle including:Trade confirmationSettlement processingReconciliationCorporate ActionsExposure to:Corporate BondsAsset-Backed SecuritiesTrust structuresCustodian operationsPreferred Experience / Resume Indicators Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred: Automated Corporate Actions processing using Python or Java with SWIFT messaging.Developed investment operations approval and payment workflows based on authorization thresholds.Built integrations for trade confirmation and post-trade processing.Automated settlement workflows using SWIFT messaging with custodian banks.Developed digitally signed financial documents and secure transaction instructions.Delivered automation solutions that improved operational efficiency within financial services environments.Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
