Founding Product Engineer Berlin | 5 days in office | Full-time We’re partnering with an exciting early-stage AI startup building technology that automates complex business workflows for its customers. The team is now looking for a Founding Product Engineer to join early and help shape the next phase of the product. The opportunity This is a role for someone who wants real ownership. You won’t be handed a list of tickets and told what to build. You’ll work closely with the founding team, understand customer problems, figure out what needs to be built, and take it all the way through to production. You’ll have a meaningful say in what gets built, how it gets built and where the product goes next. You’ll be working on: AI-powered workflows that automate complex business processesLLM-based systems and agentic workflowsReal-time data pipelines and integrationsCustomer-facing product features from idea through to productionProblems across AI, automation and data where there often isn't an established playbookThe architecture and foundations that will allow the product to scale What we're looking for We're looking for a highly autonomous, product-minded engineer who enjoys figuring things out rather than waiting for direction. You’ll ideally have: 5+ years of software engineering experienceStrong full-stack engineering experience, with the ability to work across the productStrong TypeScript and Python skillsExperience with modern web technologies such as React and Node.jsA track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into shipped, production-ready productsExperience working in an early-stage startup or similarly fast-moving environmentStrong product instincts and a genuine focus on solving customer problemsHigh autonomy and ownership, you're comfortable deciding what needs to happen and making it happenA genuine interest in AI and LLM-powered productsThe ambition to operate at founding-engineer level, rather than simply execute an existing roadmap Why join?
