Frontend Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Contribute to the development and maintenance of production systems for a modern cloud service used for preparing and testing ML models. • Work on moderately complex features and software components, executing assigned tasks independently with guidance as needed. • Focus primarily on the frontend web interface, with expectations to contribute to the backend. • Actively participate in design/UX reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions. • Translate wireframe designs into polished user experiences. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit and integration tests. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, with 6+ years of relevant work experience. • Proficiency in TypeScript, with experience using React and modern frontend tooling (e.g., Vite, React Router). • Experience with modern React ecosystem: React Router v7, TanStack Query, Tailwind. • Experience with UX concepts, applying user-centered design principles, and collaborating with designers. • Backend development experience using Python. • Understanding of relational databases and experience building/consuming RESTful APIs.
