The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, governing, and scaling a next-generation internal developer platform that empowers engineering teams through automation, self-service capabilities, and AI-driven delivery workflows.
This role combines platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, site reliability, and developer experience, with a strong focus on enabling fast, secure, and scalable software delivery.
You will work closely with software engineers, QA, security, and architecture teams to establish robust foundations for cloud-native development and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and evolve the organization's Internal Developer Platform (IDP), enabling streamlined software delivery and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.Support and continuously improve Developer Experience (DevEx) by optimizing key delivery metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR)Govern and optimize CI/CD delivery pipelines, supporting both high-velocity development workflows and production-grade deployment processes.Define and maintain cloud-native platform architectures using an "Architecture-as-Product" mindset, reducing operational complexity for development teams.Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and intelligent scaling strategies to ensure cost-efficient and resilient cloud operations.Embed security, compliance, and governance controls directly into delivery pipelines through automated scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement.Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to design scalable delivery frameworks and operational best practices.Drive observability initiatives through centralized logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, and AI-driven operational insights.Establish platform standards, reference architectures, reusable templates, and golden paths that promote consistency and engineering excellence.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, supporting adoption of modern DevOps, cloud, and platform engineering practices.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Experience in DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure roles.Proven track record designing and operating cloud-native environments at scale.Experience leading automation initiatives, infrastructure modernization projects, or cloud transformation programs.Strong background working within cross-functional engineering teams and driving operational excellence.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms (EKS, AKS, or similar).Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or equivalent.Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure design.Experience with observability platforms and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
