Senior OutSystems Developer

Senior OutSystems Developer - Hybrid - Sydney Build applications that secure property ownership for millions of residents, not another SaaS dashboard. You'll architect and develop OutSystems applications that handle critical property and land registry data. You'll mentor junior developers while collaborating with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions. Government moves at a different pace than startups, but you get proper funding for certifications and study leave. You'll work hybrid with just two days in the Sydney office. The tech stack includes OutSystems, AWS cloud environments, SQL Server, and modern web technologies. You'll have time to do the job properly without unrealistic deadlines crushing your code quality. This isn't a place where you'll get pulled into endless meetings or politics. You'll focus on technical work with a clear reporting line to the Head of Applications. The team values security-first development and follows proper DevOps practices. You'll work across both agile and waterfall methodologies depending on project needs, giving you exposure to different approaches. What You'll Do: • Design and deploy OutSystems applications for property registry and land management systems • Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and conduct code reviews • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and architect scalable solutions • Optimise application performance and resolve bottlenecks in production systems What You'll Need: • 5+ years software development with 3+ years OutSystems experience • Strong skills in SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and RESTful APIs • Web security best practices and browser debugging tools experience • AWS cloud experience and MS SQL Server knowledge preferred About the Company: They're a government organisation that's been managing property ownership records for over a century.
