Senior AI Software Engineer A leading global provider of e-health software solutions is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team in Koblenz. This role involves driving the integration of artificial intelligence into a diverse portfolio of healthcare applications to improve outcomes for medical professionals and patients. The successful candidate will work across the full stack to design and operate cloud-native services within a highly innovative and mission-driven environment. What you'll be doing • Develop and operate modern web applications across a comprehensive SaaS portfolio including frontend, backend, and DevOps layers. • Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences into products using LLMs, retrieval, and structured workflows. • Design cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, developer productivity, and shared agent pipelines. • Collaborate with product management and UX teams to establish best practices for engineering and AI application quality. • Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare workflows to ensure technical developments deliver measurable user value. What we're looking for • Extensive senior-level experience in full-stack engineering with deep knowledge of React/Angular and Java Spring Boot or Python. • Advanced academic background with a Master’s or Doctorate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Practical expertise with technologies such as Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud environments. • Proven experience implementing AI tools and designing AI pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering workflows. • Professional fluency in both German and English with strong proactive problem-solving skills.
