In this role, you will play a massive part in establishing our engineering culture and bringing innovation to our new location. The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company. Responsibilities Deliver first-class software engineering and take deep technical ownership of critical projects and system designs.Partner closely with technical leads, Product Managers (PMs), and Technical Program Managers/Program Managers (T/PgMs) to execute on the team's goal and Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy. Drive the successful technical transfer and implementation of critical new projects.Stay on the rapidly developing agentic threat landscape and boldly embrace the dynamically changing AI environment. Move fast, write exceptional code, and think outside the box to engineer new solutions to old problems.Work tightly with partner teams in Google's Software Supply Chain Integrity program, engineering stakeholders, and industry peers to seamlessly integrate our security solutions at an unprecedented scale.
