DevOps Engineer AWS

Neunen is an international IT consulting and custom software development company headquartered in Thessaloniki, Greece. We partner with medium to enterprise-scale organizations across Germany to deliver high-impact digital transformation, agile coaching, and modern cloud architectures. We are expanding our technical team and looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and scale robust AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. What You’ll Do Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and automation workflows.Manage containerized applications and orchestrate deployment lifecycles.Establish comprehensive observability frameworks (telemetry, log aggregation, alerting).Collaborate directly with international engineering teams working on modern TypeScript/Node.js codebases. Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Languages: Excellent command of English (fluent spoken and written).AWS Core Services: Hands-on experience with ECS, CloudWatch, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and EKS.Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation.Containers: Strong knowledge of Docker.Code Familiarity: Practical understanding of TypeScript and the Node/npm ecosystem to read application logic.Observability: Solid grasp of monitoring, logging, and proactive alerting principles. Nice-to-Haves Database & Caching: Experience with AWS RDS, DynamoDB, and Redis.CI/CD: Experience setting up pipelines in GitLab using GitFlow workflows.Cloud Security: Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management platforms (such as Wiz).
