We are driving the transformation from traditional infrastructure and operational models towards modern cloud-native platforms based on Kubernetes, GitOps and automation. As a DevOps Engineer, you take ownership of platform operations while actively contributing to the evolution of our services. Together with your team, you build innovative solutions, automate processes and ensure high service quality, reliability and scalability. Operate, automate and continuously evolve the Swisscom Mobile Core platform.Design and implement modern platform solutions based on Kubernetes, GitOps and CI/CD.Troubleshoot complex issues, implement sustainable solutions and enhance system resilience.Drive automation and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead.Foster strong collaboration between internal cross-functional teams and external vendors Skills Degree in Computer Science (University, ETH, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent professional experienceExperience operating in Linux-based platforms and servicesAdvanced proficiency in Kubernetes, holding a CKA is an advantage.Core understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing and switching)Ability to design declarative automation based on IaC tools (such as Ansible) and custom software solution (such as python, golang)Strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented mindsetEnjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge within and across teamsCuriosity, adaptability and a passion for continuous learning and improvement With us, you have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in Switzerland or in your home office.
