Job Description The position involves supporting the ongoing development and management of UAEU websites, portal and the development of custom web applications. The Web Application Developer will also be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to others as appropriate. Develop and maintain templates, layouts and Cascading Style Sheets. Responsible for different stages of software engineering process starting from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, training, documentation, and support. Design and develop web applications using .NET Core. Develop, consume, and maintain APIs and backend services to support web and mobile applications. Ensure all web and API development follows industry best practices, including security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability. Responsible to provide post go-live support for java and .NET web applications. Adhere to web development best practices. Prepare test plans for web applications for UAT. Document all web applications including user and technical guides. Support system administrators and database administrator while moving web applications from test to production through change management process. Make recommendations for improving web development process as deemed necessary. Maintain development documentation and technical standards. Ensure compliance with UAEU security, privacy, and data governance policies. Adhere to DoIT policies and procedures in delivering integration development and maintenance activities Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. 0-3 years. Preferred Qualification Bachelors Degree required, preferably in computer science or related field Expected Skills 3 years of experience in web development.
