Role DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated, technically focused, and detail-oriented Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services.
This role is responsible for assisting with cloud environments, infrastructure operations, system monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, security, and continuous improvement of cloud platforms.
The successful candidate will support cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar environments.
You will assist with configuring virtual machines, storage resources, networking components, databases, identity services, containers, and other cloud resources according to established technical requirements.
The role involves monitoring cloud environments to maintain system availability, performance, reliability, and security.
You will review system alerts, logs, resource utilization, service health, and performance metrics to identify potential issues and support timely resolution.
You will assist with deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities may include configuring environments, managing resources, supporting application deployments, updating configurations, and validating that cloud services operate according to defined requirements.
The position requires supporting infrastructure automation through tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
You will help automate repetitive operational tasks, improve deployment consistency, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices.
You will work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity teams, database teams, and other technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities include supporting CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, environment configuration, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
The role also involves assisting with cloud security and access management.
You will support identity and access controls, permissions, security configurations, network policies, encryption settings, backup procedures, and other controls designed to protect cloud resources and organizational data.
You will assist with cloud cost monitoring and resource optimization by reviewing usage patterns, identifying unnecessary resources, and supporting initiatives designed to improve infrastructure efficiency.
You will also contribute to capacity planning, availability improvements, and operational optimization.
The position requires maintaining technical documentation covering cloud architecture, configurations, deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, operational processes, and system changes.
You will follow established change management, security, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
The role encourages continuous learning and exposure to modern technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing, observability platforms, artificial intelligence, automation, and cloud-native application architectures.

QualificationsBasic understanding of cloud computing concepts, services, infrastructure, and cloud-native technologies.Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Understanding of fundamental cloud services including compute, storage, networking, databases, identity, monitoring, and security.Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server environments.Basic understanding of virtualization, containers, and cloud infrastructure architecture.Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.Understanding of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or other version control platforms.Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment pipelines.Familiarity with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.Understanding of basic cloud security concepts, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and secure configuration.Basic knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity concepts.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate technical issues systematically.Strong attention to detail when configuring cloud resources, reviewing logs, managing permissions, and documenting changes.Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities.Familiarity with cloud cost management, resource optimization, and infrastructure monitoring is advantageous.Understanding of Agile, DevOps, or IT service management practices is advantageous.Familiarity with artificial intelligence, automation, serverless computing, cloud-native development, or emerging cloud technologies is advantageous.Strong willingness to learn new cloud platforms, tools, services, and infrastructure technologies.Professionalism, accountability, reliability, adaptability, and commitment to maintaining secure, stable, and efficient cloud environments.
