Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Frontend Engineer (React / Power BI Integration) position based in Metro Manila.
You will be the primary front-end engineer responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining our core internal web applications using React.
Working closely with back-end and DevOps engineers, you will design and implement responsive, high-performance web interfaces, secure workflows, and data-driven dashboards.
In addition to custom web applications, you will also design, embed, and maintain enterprise reports using Power BI, providing our teams with clear, actionable operational analytics.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore Frontend Development: Build, optimize, and maintain responsive, modular web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.API & System Integration: Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, manage application state, and ensure smooth data flow across internal web platforms.Power BI Reporting: Design structured Power BI dashboards and embedded reports to present operational and financial analytics directly within or alongside our web apps.UI/UX & Performance: Translate business requirements into intuitive, clean user interfaces while optimizing page load speeds, state management, and cross-browser performance.Automation & Power Platform (Bonus): Utilize or integrate Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline internal tasks, forms, and automated notifications where appropriate.
QualificationsPrimary Stack (React): 3+ years of experience building production-grade web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and modern CSS/UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Shadcn UI, or Material UI).Power BI Experience: Hands-on experience designing Power BI reports and dashboards, writing basic/intermediate DAX, and setting up clean visual layouts for business users.API & State Management: Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous data fetching, and state management libraries (e.g., React Query, Zustand, or Redux).Power Platform (Plus): Working knowledge or hands-on exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate is a strong advantage.Software Fundamentals: Solid background in Git version control, component-driven architecture, and secure web application development practices.Domain Experience (Plus): Experience working with financial services, enterprise portals, or data-dense internal tools is beneficial.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
