About The Role DevOps System Engineer Candidate will develop CI/CD build and deploy pipelines; integrate tools into the pipeline and manage debugging integration issues. In addition, selected candidate will help integrate with various tools for the DevOps process. Job Duties include: Development of CI/CD Build and Deployment PipelinesWrite/modify Jenkins-based groovy scriptsWrite/update Terraform scriptsTroubleshoot pipeline issues across on-prem, Openshift environments and AWS Environments Document key features for developer useHelp write and maintain scripts for process improvements (ex: stage/unstage builds, branch tag automation, automating variance corrections across networks)Work with Helm charts to deploy container based microservicesIntegrate tools into the pipelineWork with the development teams to bring in new microservices into the pipeline. Helping troubleshoot as necessary.Work through steps to automate installations of COTS products into the architectureDebugging integration issues Help identify issues in the deployment (i.e. potentially intermittent connectivity issues from an API Server to the Database)Monitor (and help develop scripts to monitor) services to ensure everything is functioning as necessaryDevOps Tool IntegrationHelp integrate with various tools for the DevOps process (SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, Artifactory, etc...) Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement Experience with Linux EnvironmentsExperience with scripting languages, such as Bash and Python Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, such as JavaExperience with Openshift or similar container environmentDoD IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE, CISSP, etc.)Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain a polygraph Details Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
