Job Description We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the LatAm Compliance Analytics branch of the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team at Wise. You will join a team of analysts who own the reporting layer for Compliance activities to give assurance to the Board and our regulators that we are effectively managing the risks we face. These activities include regulatory reporting- both routine and ad hoc- as well as compliance monitoring and testing. You’ll partner with 2nd line Compliance in Latin America to ensure they can execute against the Compliance regulatory reporting schedule, as well as leveraging data to proactively monitor risks. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Partnering with stakeholders across the Compliance function covering all products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and IT) primarily in the LatAm region Contribute towards building the engagement model between analytics and Compliance for delivering regulatory reporting and moving towards building automated pipelines for recurring reports Identifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within testing projects and influencing and upskilling your partners in Compliance to do the same Championing innovation and data-driven insights across all Compliance activities where analytics can add value Leading automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across Compliance Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data analytics Stakeholder management skills; you know how to leverage multiple different teams to deliver high-impact change Extensive experience using SQL; you can build and maintain complex data sources and can leverage visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, etc) to surface insights You have built reporting outputs, creating advanced SQL scripts based on requirements communicated by stakeholders Experience using data engineering tools (GitHub, dbt, Airflow etc.) to transform messy data into clean and efficient pipelines and you know how to produce comprehensive data documentation You understand the importance of data integrity, quality & governance. You know how to produce comprehensive data documentation Meticulous & disciplined approach towards accuracy of data outputs You are able to prioritise your own and your team’s work and independently manage competing priorities You can contribute your own ideas to influence the team’s strategic roadmap NICE TO HAVE Experience in Compliance analytics testing or Internal Audit analytics Experience using dbt Knowledge of Python Financial services experience Experience in regulatory reporting and monitoring controls or controls assurance Experience using AI tools You have experience with designing and owning data assets Interest in data governance / data quality Additional Information Benefits 🚀 RSU’s in a rapidly growing company 💻 Flexible working model – During the first six months, you’ll be in office most days of the week to become fully immersed in Wise’s culture and ways of working.
