About The Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer (w/m/d) at Zasta GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that our platforms are reliable, secure, and scalable to meet the demands of our growing user base. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to automate processes, optimize infrastructure, and lay the technical foundation for continuous deployment and sustainable growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to the evolution of our cloud environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in building and managing modern cloud infrastructures, particularly on AWS. You should possess strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux system administration, and Git-based development workflows is essential. Familiarity with relational databases, monitoring, and logging of cloud applications will be highly advantageous. Additionally, a solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and automation principles is required. We are seeking someone with an analytical mindset, structured working style, and the ability to work independently while thriving in interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Develop and operate our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to support scalable and resilient applications.Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD practices.Ensure the reliable operation of containerized applications, continuously improving our platform.Manage monitoring, logging, and ensure the stability and performance of our systems.Collaborate closely with development and product teams, bringing best practices in cloud computing and DevOps to the table.
