Senior Java Engineer London (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Up to £100,000 Our client is a growing fintech building high-performance, low-latency backend systems where engineering quality directly impacts product capability and scale. This is a hands-on senior role for a deep Java specialist who wants ownership, architectural influence, and a clear path to leading a small team. What You’ll Own Design and build distributed, low-latency services in Java 25Develop production-grade microservices (Dropwizard)Solve real concurrency and multithreading challengesImprove throughput, performance, and system resilienceRun services in Docker/Kubernetes environmentsContribute to infrastructure decisions (Terraform exposure helpful)Raise code quality and architectural standardsYou won’t be maintaining a narrow component in a large silo. You’ll design, build, and ship with real influence.
