Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Workato Developer with 10+ years of experience in software development and enterprise integration, including strong hands-on expertise with Workato.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable integration solutions across enterprise applications and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex enterprise integrations using Workato.Build, test, deploy, and maintain Workato recipes, workflows, and integrations.Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, OAuth, and authentication mechanisms.Integrate applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, databases, and custom applications.Design reusable connectors, callable recipes, error-handling frameworks, and integration patterns.Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and production support.Establish best practices for integration architecture, security, monitoring, logging, and error handling.Work closely with business analysts, architects, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders.Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development teams.Conduct code/design reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.Manage deployment across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.Create technical documentation, integration specifications, data mappings, and support documentation.Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in software development, enterprise integration, or middleware technologies.Strong hands-on experience with Workato and enterprise integration development.Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, webhooks, OAuth 2.0, JSON, XML, HTTP, and API authentication.Experience with databases and SQL.Strong understanding of integration architecture and design patterns.Experience with enterprise SaaS and on-premise application integrations.Knowledge of ETL/data transformation and synchronization concepts.Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and version/release management.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Workato certifications are highly desirable.Experience developing custom Workato connectors.Experience with API Management and enterprise integration platforms.Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP integration services.Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, or similar enterprise platforms.Familiarity with DevOps and automated deployment practices.Experience leading integration projects or technical teams.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
