Full Stack Java Developer

Must-Have Summary 10+ years of experience developing n-tier enterprise applications, preferably in complex enterprise environments. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework, including application architecture, modern design patterns, security, and performance optimization. Hands-on expertise with JPA/Hibernate (MyBatis is also valuable) for ORM and integration with backend services. Strong REST API and Microservices experience, including designing, developing, integrating, and supporting scalable enterprise APIs. Strong frontend development experience using React and/or Angular, with solid JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+) skills. Strong database design and SQL development skills, specifically PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL, and Azure Cosmos DB, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and database functions. Strong Azure Cloud experience, particularly Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL, with experience supporting cloud-native applications. Strong test automation and quality engineering experience covering unit, API, integration, and E2E testing; tools such as JUnit 5, Mockito, Jest, Playwright/Katalon are highly relevant. Experience implementing automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, with knowledge of BDD and automated REST API validation. Experience with Agile/Scrum, including User Stories, code reviews, design sessions, Agile ceremonies, CI, and test automation. Experience with enterprise integration, including middleware, API gateways, integration services/hubs, communication protocols, and system/data migration activities. Strong requirements gathering, technical documentation, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and design walkthrough skills; AODA/WCAG knowledge is an advantage.
