The XR DevX Infrastructure team is developing systems, tools and processes to improve developer experience and velocity for Android XR. We support developers, partners and stakeholders to deliver on a regular cadence, with maximum velocity and trust. For decades, the computing revolution has reshaped our world driven by breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences. Responsibilities Design with guidance, implement, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software solutions that improve the developer workflow, code quality, and release velocity.Work with the team to identify and analyze pain points in the software development lifecycle; propose and implement innovative solutions, increasingly leveraging AI/ML.Develop and integrate AI-powered features into developer tools to assist with code generation, code review, test generation, bug detection/triaging, and more.Collaborate closely with various engineering teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and drive the adoption of new tools and best practices.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in software engineering, developer tools, AI/ML technologies, and internal Google platforms.
