This role will support our engagement with a prominent French logistics and maritime corporation, helping to build the interfaces used for their commercial analysis. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from wherever you are based. We avoid generic models and theoretical reports, focusing instead on tools that support practical commercial judgment. What you will do Develop and maintain the user interface for specialized tools used in the maritime and logistics sector. Translate visual designs and wireframes into clean, functional code using modern web standards. Collaborate with the advisory team to ensure data from maritime operations and shipping routes is presented clearly to decision-makers. Optimize interface components for efficiency when handling large sets of commercial and logistics data. Identify and resolve bugs or layout issues across various web browsers and devices. Assist in the integration of data sources to feed live information into the frontend environment. Participate in internal discussions to determine how technical tools can better support specific client outcomes. Maintain clear documentation for new features and interface updates to assist team members. What you bring Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript. Familiarity with a frontend framework like React, Vue, or similar, perhaps through academic projects or independent study. A disciplined approach to writing clean, readable, and maintainable code. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices simply to non-technical partners. A genuine interest in how global trade and the maritime industry operate on a commercial level. The self-discipline required to manage your own tasks and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment. An understanding of how to use Git for version control and collaborative development. Strong attention to detail regarding layout, alignment, and the visual clarity of data.
