Job Summary Design and build innovative, scalable software products to ensure our customers can use AI securelyOwn new features/functionality from start to finish. Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition, design, through implementation and test. Ensure that applications are production-ready, scalable, and reliableCollaborate with product managers, frontend software engineers, product designers, and infrastructure engineers to shape the future of Palo Alto Networks AI Security Offerings.Operate production services with hundreds of enterprise customers as a true owner, ensuring that Prisma AIRS customers experience top-notch reliability, availability, and performanceDevelop expertise in new technologies and keep up with the rapidly evolving AI security landscapeMentor junior engineers and champion high standards of development and innovation. Qualifications Required qualifications 10+ years of software engineering experience, building and designing large distributed system and web services in the cloudHands-on programming skills in Java / Go, / Python or equivalent languages.Experience with a major cloud provider like GCP (preferred), AWS, or AzureHands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL based databases such as Postgres, MySQL, Spanner, BigTable, BigQuery, MongoDB etcExperience with Graph databases such as Neo4j is highly desired.Experience with the queuing system such as RabbitMQ or Kafka or PubSubExperience with Microservices architecture (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, AKS, Docker, Serverless, etc)Self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveExperience partnering with Product Managers and front end engineers.Experience in leading and doing big projects end to endExcellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and GrafanaExperience using AI tools to aid design and development.Experience working in an agile and dynamic environmentReady to understand and dissect new technology stacks quicklyHigh energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitudeSelf-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, and strong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveFamiliarity with Cyber Technologies, Information Security, and Software Security is plus Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
