Job Number: R0246953 Full Stack Software Engineer The Opportunity: As a full stack software engineer, you can resolve complex problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for a full stack developer with the skills needed to develop, integrate, test, and maintain software capabilities from requirements through production delivery. You’ll work across the technology stack and collaborate with other engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable software solutions. As a full stack software engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies to solve challenging technical and mission problems. You’ll develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities while working within established application architectures and engineering standards. You’ll participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot application issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improvements in software quality and maintainability. You’ll work alongside senior engineers to evaluate technical approaches, learn new tools and technologies, and continuously improve the team's development and delivery practices. You Have: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing, testing, integrating, or maintaining software applications 5+ years of experience developing applications using an object-oriented programming language 4+ years of experience developing web applications using frontend technologies or frameworks, such as React or Angular Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs Experience developing applications using relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and working with SQL Experience working with automated build, test, or CI/CD processes Experience working within Agile software development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban Experience using software development and task management tools, such as Jira TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology field, or 12+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience developing production applications with Python Experience developing enterprise web applications Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as CloudFormation Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies Experience with automated unit, integration, or end-to-end testing Experience with application authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, or observability Experience working in DevSecOps software delivery environments Experience leading projects and mentoring, teaching junior staff members Clearance:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
