DevOps Engineer - Fintech SaaS Products Location: Hybrid (Ireland) Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 + Benefits I'm working with one of Ireland's leading fintech scale-ups as they continue to invest in their engineering function with the hire of a Mid-Level to Senior DevOps Engineer. This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain infrastructure or respond to tickets. You'll join a small, highly collaborative DevOps team where you'll have genuine ownership over cloud infrastructure, automation and platform reliability, helping shape how DevOps evolves across the business' two core SaaS products. The business is looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and taking the initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do. What you'll be doing Supporting and improving AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple production environmentsBuilding and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket PipelinesManaging infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeHelping automate release processes and reduce manual deployment activitiesSupporting an ongoing platform migration across two productsMonitoring, troubleshooting and improving platform reliabilityWorking closely with Software Engineers to improve deployment and operational processesContributing to observability, monitoring and incident responseMentoring less experienced engineers and helping raise technical standards across the teamIdentifying opportunities to improve infrastructure, security and automation What they're looking for You'll ideally have experience with a number of the following: 3+ years' experience in a DevOps, Platform or Cloud Engineering roleStrong AWS experience across production environmentsTerraform and Infrastructure as CodeCI/CD experience using Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines or similar toolingContainer technologies including ECS and FargateMonitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or DatadogExperience supporting Linux-based production environmentsStrong troubleshooting and incident investigation skillsExperience working within Agile engineering teamsA proactive mindset with the confidence to make decisions and take ownershipSomeone who enjoys improving processes rather than simply maintaining themExperience working within fintech, SaaS or other regulated environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.
