The position offers exposure to high-performance distributed systems, decentralized technologies, and AI-assisted development while emphasizing strong engineering fundamentals and architectural responsibility.

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, adaptable Senior Full-Stack Developer to join Sbarter, a pioneering skill-based gaming platform that bridges high-performance Web2 competitive matchmaking with secure, decentralized on-chain settlement. In this full-time remote contractor role, you will be responsible for building and scaling our Web2 backend services in Golang and our frontend user interfaces in React. Because Sbarter operates a hybrid architecture, you do not need to write smart contracts daily, but you must possess a solid, intuitive understanding of decentralized systems, ledger mechanics, and Web3 integration patterns. We encourage the use of AI-assisted development tools, however, AI is a multiplier, not a replacement for engineering fundamentals. You must possess the deep system-level experience required to critically evaluate, architect, debug, and optimize the code you deliver. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices in Golang.Develop responsive, highly responsive user experiences in React, utilizing modern micro-frontend design patterns and state management.Bridge our Web2 application layer with our Web3 protocols, ensuring seamless communication with non-custodial wallets and blockchain nodes.Apply robust web service architectures, ensuring optimal API performance, security, and message-queue reliability.Collaborate with product and technical leadership to rapidly iterate on new tournament mechanics, leaderboard systems, and payment integrations. What We Are Looking For Proven, production-grade experience with Golang (Go) for backend microservices and React for modern web frontends. Strong knowledge of web service design patterns, API gateway structures, caching strategies, and frontend microservices. A clear, demonstrable understanding of Web3 environments, cryptographic signing, non-custodial wallet flows, and RPC node communication. WThe ability to write clean, self-documenting code, design robust database schemas, and lead complex features from technical specification through to production deployment. Job Setup & Requirements Full-time Remote Contractor Immediate start preferred, with core overlap hours with European/CET time zones for collaborative sprints. Fully Remote (Global) If you are a builder who loves solving complex state synchronization problems, bridging Web2 ease-of-use with Web3 sovereignty, and utilizing cutting-edge workflows to ship fast, we want to hear from you. Please submit your CV along with your GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating real-world applications you have built.
