Senior Frontend Engineer / Tech Lead | Angular & TypeScript | Munich | 60% Home Office | €110,000pa Air traffic control software, a tech lead seat, and 60 percent home office on an 18-Month Secure ANÜ Engagement in Munich. THE ROLE You would take a central role as Tech Lead and Senior Developer on a modern web frontend suite for air traffic control management software. Hands on engineering alongside real architecture ownership, not one or the other. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING Leading development of modern web frontend applications in Angular and TypeScriptDriving technical conception and software architecture, and writing the detailed designsAligning a cross cutting target architecture with the other architectsMentoring junior developers and setting technical standards across the teamWorking closely with backend teams on integrated, high performance solutionsFull Scrum participation — refinements, plannings, reviews and retrospectives ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Very good TypeScript, JavaScript and AngularSeveral years in software development, ideally as Senior Developer or Tech LeadContainerisation of web applications, Docker or KubernetesCI/CD pipelines as a standard part of how you workStrong focus on code quality, code analysis and unit testingConfident German and English, written and spokenDegree in Computer Science or demonstrably equivalent experienceEU or EEA citizenshipC1+ German & English ADVANTAGEOUS Frontend test automation, ideally PlaywrightPractical Scrum experienceGenuine interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing THE DETAILS Salary: Upto to €110,000 gross per year, depending on seniority Engagement: 18-Month Secure ANÜ Engagement Start: 1 September 2026 Hours: 40 per week Home office: 60 percent Location: Munich WHY THIS ONE Sixty percent home office on a tech lead seat is unusual in German engineering contracts, and air traffic control is a domain where the software genuinely has to work.
