Clerri is seeking a talented full-stack Senior Software Engineer to join its platform team and drive its award winning software products forward. As a software engineer, you will help lead the charge in developing elegant solutions to complicated problems. You'll design and implement responsive, accessible web applications on top of our Laravel and PHP platform, working the full depth of it: Eloquent models and MySQL schemas, Redis-backed queues, the APIs that tie it together, and the payment and identity integrations our practices depend on. As part of our development team, you will help optimize our coding conventions and processes for better performance, security, and maintainability. This role is open to fully remote candidates, with priority given to applicants based in or near Utah, or within the Mountain time zone. The Day-to-Day Build full-stack features end-to-end in Laravel/PHP, from Eloquent models, MySQL schemas, and Redis-backed Horizon queues through to the responsive, accessible interfaces on top, including the Stripe, SendGrid, and SAML2 SSOPartner with Product and QA to turn requirements into robust technical solutions, breaking down and estimating work while holding the line on security, testing, accessibility, and maintainabilityRaise the bar with agentic AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code, applying sound agent harness design, skills, and subagents to ship higher-quality software faster Key Skills Do these things sound like you? Deep proficiency in modern PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent, relational data modeling in MySQL, and queue-driven background work on Redis and Horizon, ideally in containerized environments like Docker and FrankenPHPFluency with software design patterns and object-oriented design principles applied to code running at scale in production, plus a track record of integrating and debugging third-party APIs and webhooks where payments, email deliverability, or SSO are involvedWorking command of security best practices, including client-side security and the careful handling of payment and patient data, plus WCAG accessibility requirements and automated testing with PHPUnit or PestYou are legally authorized to work permanently in the US without employer sponsorship Typical Experience & Education 4+ years of experience in software engineering at a fast-growing SaaS company; healthcare experience is a plusExperience building software with a distributed, remote teamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent years of experience Our Advantage Our team is constantly growing, learning, and adapting.
