DevOps Engineer Groenlo, Netherlands 32 - 38 hrs € 4.500 - € 6.000 Hybrid What are you going to do? Would you like to work in a complex technical environment where you can have a direct impact on the way our applications are developed, deployed and managed? As a DevOps Engineer in Security, you’ll have the freedom to make your own technical decisions and will work alongside development teams to create reliable, scalable SaaS solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for deploying our applications. In doing so, you’ll ensure they run in an automated, scalable, redundant and efficient manner. You’ll start your day with a stand-up meeting and regularly consult with other DevOps and Development Engineers on current and ongoing stories. You’ll also work on developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, configuring monitoring systems and automating these processes. Start your application Your responsibilities You automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform. You support development teams in using and further developing the infrastructure platform. You develop deployment pipelines for services running on Nomad and Kubernetes. You build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Bash and Python. You promote automation, self-service and engineering best practices within development teams. You challenge development teams on architectural choices to deliver scalable, maintainable and reliable SaaS solutions. Your team At Nedap Security, you’ll work as part of multidisciplinary product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate with other DevOps Engineers, front-end and back-end developers, and testers. Clear communication is essential to our collaboration! The team comprises a mix of personalities, knowledge and skills. We work in a dynamic way, with short lines of communication and plenty of scope to make decisions independently. This enables us to adapt quickly and actually implement improvements. The salary range for this role is between € 4.500 and € 6.000 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. All terms of employment Required Skills In your role as a DevOps Engineer, it is important that you support the team in a service-oriented manner. At the same time, you are not afraid to stand by your views and are able to clearly justify why something should be approached in a particular way. Above all, you are constantly focused on improvement and optimisation. You are committed to quality and ensure that it is maintained throughout the entire process. You will also recognise yourself in the following: Experience: At least three years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role;CI/CD: Good knowledge of and experience with pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and CircleCI;Scripting: Experience with scripting in Bash; experience with Python and/or JavaScript is an advantage;Infrastructure: Experience in managing production infrastructure and in designing and building build, deployment and monitoring systems;Language skills: Good command of English; fluency in Dutch is a strong advantage. Good to know: You are available for 32 to 38 hours per week. Hybrid working is the norm at Nedap. You will coordinate your working hours with your team to ensure a good work-life balance.
