Join us in shaping the future of After-Sales by designing and implementing innovative AI and data solutions with real business impact.Your tasks:Collaborate with experienced Data & AI architects and contribute to strategic architecture initiatives in a global enterprise environment:Support architecture discussions, workshops and decision-making processesCreate stakeholder-ready presentations and architecture artefactsHelp drive Data & AI governance and architecture initiativesCollaborate with engineering, business and data teams across the organizationOwn and deliver an independent deep-dive project with a focus on both architecture and implementation (topic to be selected during the interview process or at the start), e.g.:Automation of knowledge bases using LLM-based approachesAutomation in metadata management / data governanceAI-supported alerting automation for portfolio managementQualifikationenYour profile:Studies in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning — ideally with a focus on ML/AI or Data EngineeringSolid command of PythonExperience with Git/GitHubHands-on experience with AI technologies and LLMs (e.g. via APIs, LangChain, etc.) is a plusExperience with Databricks is a plus, but not requiredArchitecture/implementation experience from studies, open-source, or hobby projects is sufficient — no professional experience requiredInterest in responsible AI, governance and emerging AI regulations (e.g. EU AI Act)Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, curiosity for new topicsVery good English skills - German is a plus Please note that your internship at this location must be mandatory.What we offer:The opportunity to work on one of Mercedes-Benz's strategic Data & AI initiativesDirect exposure to enterprise-scale AI and data architectureOwnership of a meaningful project with visible business impactMentoring from experienced Data & AI ArchitectsInsights into modern technologies such as AI, Databricks and cloud-based data platformsOpportunity to build a professional network across business and technology domainsA collaborative and innovative team culture with room for your own ideas Additional Information:We look forward to receiving your online application, including a resume, cover letter, certificates, current certificate of enrollment stating your semester, proof of mandatory internship if applicable, and proof of the standard period of study.
