Backend / Fullstack Developer (Golang) — Dubai Business Bay, Dubai | On-site | £40k/year Our Client is looking for a Golang-first Backend/Fullstack Developer to help build the core services powering our platform. You'll be responsible for the systems that everything else runs on — designing APIs, modelling data, and making sure things stay fast and reliable as the product scales. This is a hands-on role in a small team where you'll have real ownership over the services you build, with the flexibility to contribute across the stack when needed. What you'll do: Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in GolangModel data, design schemas, and ensure performance and reliabilityIntegrate with frontend and third-party servicesContribute across the stack as needed, including frontend work where usefulMake decisions around infrastructure, tooling, and system architectureWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code as the platform grows What we're looking for: 4+ years professional experience, with Golang as a primary languageStrong grasp of API design, databases, and system architectureComfortable owning features end-to-end, from design through to deploymentPragmatic problem-solver who can balance speed with long-term maintainabilityBonus: frontend familiarity (React) for fullstack contributions If you want to build core systems from the ground up rather than patch someone else's, this is built for you.
