Job title: Principal Automation Engineer Duration: 12 months Role status: Current opening Principal tasks and responsibilities include: Develop and execute enterprise-wide infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies.Design and implement scalable automation solutions across Linux, virtualization, container, and hybrid cloud environments.Establish infrastructure standards, governance, and security best practices to support reliable enterprise operations.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance to engineering teams.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve automation capabilities and operational efficiency. Our client: A large Canadian enterprise organization Qualifications and pre-requisites: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with experience mentoring technical teams.Advanced knowledge of enterprise Linux environments, virtualization, and container platforms.Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python and enterprise monitoring tools.10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.isgSearch does not use artificial intelligence throughout the hiring process.
