Backend Developer – Go / AWS – Junior Overview My client is going through an exciting stage of growth, investing heavily in modernising its platforms with scalable, cloud-native architecture. They're looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join their engineering team, working primarily in Go and AWS to build and maintain the APIs and services powering their platforms. London: 1–2 days/week on-site Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 Employment type: Permanent position Role & Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using GoWork closely with senior engineers and product teams to translate requirements into working featuresBuild and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, databases, and backend servicesSupport the ongoing performance, scalability, and security of backend systemsWork with AWS cloud infrastructure to deploy and maintain services Skills & Experience 2–5 years' professional software development experience Solid experience with Go Experience with AWS Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Strong engineering fundamentals and a solid delivery background Good understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) Interested, or know someone who'd be a great fit?
